Certainly not the Acorn Atom. That machine had some weird quirks,
but its ability to imbed assembly code within its BASIC programs
really rocked. Plus a system design that was simple enough for
ordinary geeks to grok all of it.
Yep, those were the days. Those were also the days when a floppy
disk interface which offered 92.6k of storage per disk was
worth a £650 premium, too.
