At the risk of sounding like a jerk, what is the idea behind a 303
clone?
The consensus on AH seems to be that none of the X0X clones sound
*exactly* like the original instruments. This includes commercial
units that I suspect were designed and built at considerable expense
(compared to a DIY effort). And you want more than just a
soundalike -- you are looking for a workalike, too.
Yes, real XOXs can be overpriced, but how much time and money will you
spend before deciding that you don't have a real 303? Besides, you
noted that 303 prices are coming back to Earth.
I'm just wondering what the objectives are. Not that you need for me
to understand your objectives!
</jerky> :-)
