Gosh, it seems like just yesterday the last time this came up. The rule of
thumb for aluminum is that the swarf should come off as a continuous
pigtail. That's when you've got the rate of feed just right. As for the
surface speed that's where my machining reference book come in handy...

Anyone tried some DIY-EDM yet? Of course a laser mill would be even more fun...
