Wow thats really strange, Michael... how would the name "Tobytron" stroke YOUR
ego ??? (puzzled expression :^)

Yes... please publish your experiments, Toby. I've played a little bit with the
ADXL202E
but was not real sucessful. I tried to make accelerometer drum sneakers... and an
experimental
'maraca' (which was, not unexpectedly... shaped just like a sneaker :^)

I had trouble with the sneakers... it seems that the accelerometer would sense when
the
sneaker hit the floor... subjectively you 'feel' when your foot... inside the
sneaker... hits the
floor. So occasionally you wack the floor hard... but the sneaker soft-hits
outside... then you
foot hits HARD inside... and you get no output. I'm sure that lacing the sneakers
REALLY
TIGHT might eliminate that problem... but that makes my feet hurt and defeats the
purpose.
If I really wanted to be in pain I'd be married... :^P

H^) harry (actually I'm happily married to wife_3 so I know what I'm talking about
:^)
