what would rule for the DIY surplus junkie is: a whole set of flat washers
and nuts, in standard and metric.

it is not infrequent that i spend eons sifting through my hardware drawers,
looking for anything that fits a pot or switch that i want to use, often to
no avail.

any clue on where to find weird sizes and whatnot would be much appreciated...
