i know what you mean... i've been getting bored with just modding all my
guitar pedals and repairing random junk, and now i want to build
something... since i can't really make the time to get setup to to PCBs,
i'll either have to go with a full/semi-full kit [probably PAiA modular or
fatman], or drop a lot of credit for a small modular for christmas -- which
would definitely give me an awesome headstart allowing me to build kit
modules without having to worry about power supplies or waiting to get a
working system...
