   VME comes in different sizes, I use the smallest form which is a 4 
inch by 4 inch arrangement (3U).  There are 6U and double depth, meaning 
you can have a VME card that's over 8 inches square!  I chose VME due to 
the high I/O count (90 I/O, 6 power).
