a resistive bend sensor, similar to the
FRS technology but it changes resistance
as it is bent.  Some possible DIY applications
look like key position sensing, joysticks,
wah pedals with really long life ???

Prices are like $3 - $8 range (500) for 1" to
3" long sensors.  They do not offer sales on the
website yet, but say they plan to.  I think you
will be able to buy prototype quantities.

Looks like they have had some financial difficulties
so I might think carefully before getting married to
the product, or ponying up big bucks.  It DOES look
like a simple and effective product.
