[sdiy] Flat keys on the DX7?

I was at band practice the other day, and when running the DX7 I noticed 
that all of the patches were with voices that seemed to be flat, of course I 
can just go through and manually transpose each voice, then re-save them... 
But does anyone have an idea as to why? I'm thinking 1983 has something to 
do with it, hahaha
