yes. for GOD's sake KILL IT RIGHT NOW. Bend the leads over (so you are SURE
its dead)
and throw it away !!!
this is serious advice
1) A CMOS chip with one blown gate can never be trusted, ever !!!
2) You might accidently try it in a new circuit, or repair... and have to
troubleshoot
for hours. I don't know what YOUR time is worth... but if its more than
five cents
an hour you OWE it to yourself to trash that chip immediately !!!
