Well, one reason is why?  I mean, I *love* BBDs because the sound that comes
out only vaguely resembles what goes in.  For a nice reverb or a clean echo,
gimme digital.  I've made that concession to myself at least.
So what would be the point of a really good quality BBD?

One question that comes to mind is arnt on-chip low leakage caps really hard
to make?  Couldnt you actually outperform a BBD chip with a more discrete
version done with smt parts and real caps?
