Are there 16-bit ADC and DAC with parallel interfaces? Part numbers,
anyone?
If not 16 bits, how about 14 or 12?
My latest wacky idea could use such parts. :-)

Regarding this Golden Age talk, the Internet in general and this list
specifically make this the Golden Age for me. I started dabbling in
DIY back when Anderton's EPFM book was new. I never got too heavily
into it, though -- Polyphony mag became EM and stopped having much DIY
content and I moved on to other things, but not before building a PAiA
Quadrafuzz, which worked immediately and ever since.

Thanks as always to the great people of SDIY. "I love you, man!"

P.S. What is a uA726 for, and why is there no need for a modern
equivalent?
