Hi All,
Since I don't really play with tubes, I have no idea if this is a good deal
but it seemed kind of neat...
>From http://www.alltronics.com/vacuum_tubes.htm
"ALL-AMERICAN FIVE-TUBE SET
One each: 12SA7, 12SK7, 12SQ7, 35Z5GT, and 50L6GT. Tube types may be metal
or glass and not in original boxes. All tested good.
ALL-AM Our Price $9.95/Set"
They have several other pages of tube listings also, including some wacky
photomultipliers and a primitive character generator sort of type of thing
(the electron beam scans a metal mask of the desired characters and creates
a control signal that would impose the characters on a TV image...I think).
Anyway, thought I'd pass it on for the tube freaks out there (talk about
guys who have to worry about obsolete parts!) ;)
