Another question: I have an old AudioLogic crap compressor I would
like to modify into something more useful. Unfortunately it does not
have space on the front panel (which I would like to keep) for more
pots.

On old car radios and stuff there used to be these 'double-pots' 
which were not stereo-pots but instead had two indepentant sections
with the same axis center (sorry, bad english tonight). Usually it
would be used to, for instance, control the bass level with the outer
section and the treble with the inner.

Were can you get pots like these? What are they called?
