A quick check of the datasheet shows
0.4% error for non-linearity and 1% for Gain error.

I built an 8bit one a few years ago, and I could hear the errors.
So the PolyDAC is 12Bit, now I can't hear the errors.
If 8bit works for you, thats fine, just for me, its not enough.
