Hi Paul,

I see your point.  Ray could prolly answer that, I've never tried the circuit meself.  In fact, I have (yet) to do much of anything with MIDI.  I threw that one out in case Nicolai may wish to eschew computers/microntrollers, etc. altogether.

how about handling running status?
I can't see any mention of it there, a lot of these 'standalone' converters
will struggle with running status and sysex dumps.
