Since you asked, here is my method

I use the 4 conductor Speak-on connector to go between cabinets. It
accommodates large wire and has plenty of contact surface area. And, it is
one of the few affordable twist lock connectors, Inside the cabinets, I use
all # 12 or # 14 stranded to go between my power distribution PCBs (each
PCB fed radially from the power supply).

Pages 2 and 4 of my cabinet construction photos show much of how I wired my
DC distribution. I have since changed to the round style bezel on the Speak
on connectors. They are far easier to mount since the distance between the
large hole and small screw mounting holes is considerably more.

With 5 rows of modules powered up in this wiring method, I measured voltage
drop from the actual power supply terminal to the most distance power
distribution PCB as 0.01 volts.

Since I am using the MOTM connection power supply standard, I just buy the
distribution PCBs from Paul S. Although, I actually prefer the Molex brand
female connectors for the individual cables. Solder verses punch down, I
like solder.
