Power off implies all power-plugs of connected equipment is unplugged. The
creep-currents is still not very nice to have around when you connect the tip
first :P

They have become more and more accessable over time. On the front or top of
the TV, on the front of computers etc. etc. They are just plain the wrong
connectors most of the time.
