Northern Alabama here... I could do Atlanta, and Nashville or 
Chattanooga
would be very easy for me.  (Heck, for that matter, if we were looking 
for
something in this area of the country, how about Huntsville?  I'll 
volunteer
to lead a group tour of the Space and Rocket Center...)

The Florida panhandle would be very do-able also; if Tallahassee
doesn't pan out, I'd suggest Panama City -- I think February is 
off-season there,
and I don't think Hurricane Ivan did much there.  And what would the 
group
think about Asheville, NC (where Big Briar is)?
