You mean EFM ?

The trouble with the Casio is the conductive rubber keypads. They have some
substantial contact resistance.  The resistors in the string will have to be
a high value.
I'd recommend using the keys, with the diodes... in a scanning type keyboard
with a
D/A converter if Casio is your choice...
