i've been using normal cigar boxes as cases for different stuff...
what's really nice is that you can store all the parts inside as you work on
it, open it up and you are set to work... the clasping ones are even better.
another good point is that you can find them all over the place... since
they are usually wood, it isn't hard to find ones that even have sturdy
enough tops to use them for stomp boxes... awesome designs too. i love the
look of Punch brand cigar boxes, and i think if i can find another one [or
just buy a box :P] i'll finally take a shot at building ray's sound lab
minisynth... it's the perrrfex zisor
