oops, i had forgot about the other type of demagnetizers...

but can anyone guess what major electronics chain that sucks for DIY sells
the tape ones ?

i'll give a hint, there was a big thread about this same company one month
ago :P

they probably aren't very good for the heads either, but i've never tried
them.
