[sdiy] New Toy....

         Just got a new toy yesterday.  Put it together this morning.  I 
got a MIG/WF welder.  What pray tell does this have to do with SDIY?  I am 
going to build some experimental equipment racks to house my latest 
projects.  The only fly in the ointment was that Online Metals only shipped 
the metal peices on Monday and won't be here until the 29th.  I was hoping 
to construct the first one this long weekend.  Wire feed is a little bit 
different than stick arc welding.  But I managed to run a bead with it 
without too much trouble.

My main problem was that I could not find the Manual.  I assembled it 
without any instructions (in a true DIY fashion).  Turns out the manual was 
packaged in with the helmet.  I had tossed that aside since I already had a 
helmet.  Glad I did find the manual because feeding the wire into the thing 
was a bit tricky.

Anyway, another trick in my bag.  Now I just need to get a Gas Bottle so I 
can weld aluminum :-)...might be cheaper to just eat beans....
