hey dave,

is this a pedal or a 19" unit? or a table top?

couple of options:

- in the discussion about synth parts we've had here, it came up that roland
is very good with their old parts inventory. since boss is roland, you might
try them first. they might still have the pot you need.

- try people like senso's vintage planet or chipforbrains on ebay, they sell
vintage roland parts.

- i know companies like conrad (big euro electronics seller) have plastic
radiohm pots that have a grooved shaft and that are plastic, so you can cut
the shaft length to your own wishes. no idea if it's metal or plastic in
there now.. and metal pots might be better, but these can be a cheap and
easy replacement for a while..
