Same here, I designed (and built) a CMOS ADSR that uses one 4069UB, but the
circuit actually contains one RS flipflop, a few NOR gates and some other stuff,
all made out of the 6 inverters on the one chip plus some diodes and resistors.  

There is also the reverse, where you may have an unused gate from a NOR package,
but you really need an inverter.  Just ground one NOR input and voila la inverter.
