I'll try to clarify:
I have one Power One +/-15 volt supply for VCOs,VCFs,VCAs. I have a smaller power supply for the trigger generators,EGs, and all kinds of other stuff. The two power supplies each have their own distribution board.
Now, from the transformer, I connect to a fuse then a switch then to a three prong socket, then a typical power cord plugged into wall. That's how the first power supply is hooked up. For the second one, do I need a seperate switch and three prong socket (not talking about the wall plug here) ? I want them to share the same switch and AC plug since the two supplies will always be used at the same time.
thanks

as in wall socket ?
If you don't exceed the circuit breaker current (typ 15-20A) you're
fine.
very unlikely your power one supples are THIS big ?
(or maybe I did not understand your question)
