Charles,

If it is free, take it. Any tool here is better than none. For audio, 
the only problem with a lower bandwidth O-scope is seeing HF 
oscillation. This can be as high as 100 MHz, which is why I selected a 
200 MHz scope for my bench. The other nice feature of a better scope is 
dual trace. This allows for comparison of signals at two different 
points in a circuit.
