also, another question..   when driving 2 things in a parallel config, what's needed at the split of the signal?  just a resistor on each side?   and then a simple summing circuit on the output of the 2?

  They could also be driven in parallel then mixed. Each configuration would have a different effect. Modulars;-)

    Hey all

    A semi related question.. maybe something i should just try, but i'd like some input from the list.. 

    i'm building a simple efx unit using a few things lying around..  i've got 2 distortion units  selectable via switch..   one is tube overdrive sim and the other strait distortion.   i'm also going to add a cd4007 based filter in there..

    just wondering what would be the "preferred" placement..  filter first or distortion first.. 

    anyone?
