ya, modular is the way to go.. but not in 1 rack space.. :-P just trying to figure out what makes more sense i guess.. but after all, can sense be made of some sounds?
driven in parallel and mixed is a good idea.. definately.. but not sure if it's what i'm going for.. sort of that tcworks Filtrator kind of thing..

They could also be driven in parallel then mixed. Each configuration would have a different effect. Modulars;-)

Hey all
A semi related question.. maybe something i should just try, but i'd like some input from the list..
i'm building a simple efx unit using a few things lying around.. i've got 2 distortion units selectable via switch.. one is tube overdrive sim and the other strait distortion. i'm also going to add a cd4007 based filter in there..
just wondering what would be the "preferred" placement.. filter first or distortion first..
anyone?
