Funny, I was on Analog's site today and did a search on "SSM" to see
what they had. Some VCA chip caught my eye, and I saw that an 8 x 2
analog mixer chip has been discontinued.
Okay, so what is the SSM2210 (Audio Dual Matched NPN Transistor) good
for? Is it better than the LM194 and LM394? Oh, never mind, I see that
*is* a substitute for the LM394, says so right on the product page.
Is this the best thing going for expo converters?

We can dream. (Or, we can lobby Analog Devices. Shall I start a
petition?)
