I keep running across crosspoint matrix chips at relatively inexpensive prices.
I think I remember seeing them in the video section of the IC manufactures. A
video matrix should be fine at audio. (Don't ask which manufacturer - I don't
remember - I was searching for an opamp with a gain of at least 10 at 50M Hz.)
