Special greetings this time go to Paul Maddox - I was the guy who 
bought one of your first Monowaves, remember?

I'll have to read up on decoupling, but for now I'll use the ICM7555 as 
it seems to accept a lower current in the control/ trig signal.

The bounce times remain to be seen, but most likely it will work as you 
describe.
