I don't really see where a preset selection method was etched in
stone. True, my initial concept uses a simple, numeric selector. That
does not mean, however, that alternative selectors can't be used. All
that's needed is something to set a 4- or 6-bit address that can be
shared with other modules. You can have 16 or 32 or 64 separate
buttons on a strip just above the keyboard, if you prefer.
