cheers for the link, looks great!

a few months back microcontroller released DSPIC which could be used for
cheaper projects too. In my final year at uni, we made a hardware granular
synth (or random sine/noise generator!!) and we just used stndard PICs for
that. I found it a good starter into sdiy.
