Laurie Bidulph used to support the DSP Lite Development System and it's
still listed on his web page although the project, I think, is dead.

This was a less-expensive option than the Analog Devices board and would
have made an attractive tool. Many of the DSP_Lite links on Laurie's page
have stopped working now so I think the project has gone the way of the
Dido. (Please, Lord, make her stop singing. Please.)

Might be worth pestering some of the project contributors though.
