Or the earlier and more famous case:

The dialog sections of Frank Zappa's 1968 album "Lumpy Gravy"
(recorded in 1967) were made with two microphones placed inside a
grand piano, a brick on the sustain pedal, a blanket over the top, and
with guests invited to stick their heads in and perform improvised
conversations based on random topics described over the studio
intercom.  The environment inside the piano combined with the bizarre
dialog and voices made for a very creepy effect.

Then, in classic Zappa form, the situation was described in the lyrics
to the song "Evelyn a Modified Dog".
