They still salvage them from German tanks overwon in WWII. Those where done
by jews who used the deep mysteries of Karbala in making them, so there is no
concrete clue except for some blownup shelters.
(Yeah, it could get sillier)
But really, they should not be too hard to make. Having made an investigation
on the two spring-reverbs that I have, I can say that it should not be too hard
to make new ones. It's really a matter of magnetics and suspention.
