Of course I know of the Mini Wave! Very interesting, I think. Still, I
intend on making my own VCDO and quantizer circuit(s). I don't know
similar these will be. Probably something not unlike the DigiSound or
Ken Stone's.

I'd happened upon this page about a year ago, thanks- I'd forgotten
about it! The Scale Quantizer ROM is indeed what I am after, especially
if it has Raga scales as well. I don't know whether or not it'd work in
something besides a Mini Wave. Could be worth the $30 just to check out
and save myself a headache. I suppose I need to understand how musical
ROM tables are arrainged and addressed.

"How is this possible? Some say I employed a group of ancient Chinese
virgins to painstakingly enter each of the 65536 values in this ROM and
several went blind in the process. I hope you all appreciate their
sacrifices."

Yikes! Where are my Chinese virgins when I need them? There is no way
my wife is going to understand this project now. I'd feel far more
sorry for ancient Chinese virgins than I would for young Chinese
virgins.
