thanks for all the help so far. it doesn't seem to be on the PS board, but
i'll check it first since it's so small..;-) the problem looks like it's on
one of the 2 main boards, but since that little one is also mounted into the
case, it could be that playing with the case would make that go. the toruble
spot seems to be around where that sequencer board is though, which is also
where the power on/off switch is. the first little multicable that connects
both boards seems to hold the power traces. i'll look there too..
there goes another quiet saturday night..;-)
