I've used one of the Tekscope hand-helds.
It works, and it's kind of nice to be able to
take it into tight places where a regular scope
doesn't fit well.  (Like inside a spacecraft...)
However, it ate batteries, and the display
resolution really wasn't good enough for precise
measuring or correlation.  Also, looking at the
prices of these things, I don't think the bang/buck
ratio is very good.
