I will have you with a dash of HOT sauce... thanks.

Mark does have one point about Sescom... you cannot use the entire front panel
height. About the "35-piece" construction I don't know :^P

The Sescom rails have a nice track that you can slide 4-40 nuts into to make
internal
connections without drilling the top and bottom covers. You might use aluminum
plate,
or angle at the edges of the board. As I have done mine, you can then slide off the
top
AND the bottom at the same time and have a rugged chassis that allows access to
both
sides of the PCB.

otoh he's building the second copy of "Muffy" in his case... two boards 6" x 15" in
a 1U
high cabinet. THAT is a boxfull.

I used a Bud Valu-line cabinet, NOS. I would not have spent the nearly $300 for a
new one...
and then deal with the 1/8" thick DEAD SOFT aluminum front. I replaced mine with a
FrontPanel
Express front that is quite nice.

Now c'mon Mark... I would not have you for lunch for your (informed) opinions. I'll
gust give you
some random bad advice sometime :^P
