Maybe someone can help me on this one. The ringmod on Synthfool
( http://www.synthfool.com/ringmod.html ) shows a GE45A diode.
I have GE manuals going back to the 30s at least and they dont show a diode
with that number. In fact all I can find is the GE-45 which was a small
signal transistor and very silicon.
So, anyone recognize the GE45A?
I'm curious if 1N34's are "close enuff". I'm figuring that ringmods are
enough Black Art that I should just go through my germaniums until I find 4
that sound good.
