On this Ring mod thread, figured I'd pass on some info.
On Synthfool there is a classic ringmod
http://www.synthfool.com/ringmod.html
Lists the Stancor A4713 transformer, which I contacted Stancor about to find
the specs and low and behold they sent them! ( thanks Stancor! )
Type
Driver: Single plate to push-pull
Primary Imp in Ohms : 10k
Max Pri DC MA : 30
Ratio Pri.: 1/2 Secondary : 2:1
Audio Watts : 5
DC Resistence
Pri : 550ohms
Sec : 875ohms
Freq Responce : 100-20000 ( +-3db )
RMS Test voltage : 1500
Now, just so a second ( or 3rd or 4th ) set of eyes can double check
something, if primary is 10k and seconday is that 2:1 1/2 ( wouldnt it have
just been simpler to give the friggen value unstead of an equation? )
That'd make the secondary, urm, 10k center tapped? If so theres a
transformer at Mouser that'd be almost perfect for $2. The 42TM018. DC
resistence is a little lower but hey.
