I don't have the parts list, but I do have the schematics. The
schematics show 29v of raw voltage on either side, which is where I got
the 58vct figure from. Tweaking my lame ghetto analog meter as best I
can, I read it as +/- 27v. This is still a bit much, and my meter is
not terribly accurate. The 27 volts are between the regulators input
pins and ground, same deal with the rectifier diodes.

Well, mine certainly didn't! Another discrepancy is that some versions
have a built-in power cord (looks like three prong, but is two-prong),
while others have a receptacle for a standard removable IEC cable. Mine
is the former. Since even the schematics indicate an excessive input
voltage, I doubt very much if this is my mistake (for a change!). I can
only imagine how hot these regulators would be at 35v! Even at this 27v
or so they are too hot to touch.
I've got my 33vct transformer ready to try today. I hope this isn't too
little! People typically suggest leaving a bit of headroom so I'd
prefer 35v, but I don't have a convenient stash of transformers here.
