true. i have demonstrated this characteristic many times to introduce the
uninitiated to the wonders of the SDD-320.
the C and D are similar, but definitely differentiated enough to warrant
checking out both. unfortunately there are no samples of the D on modezero.
i have run entire submixes through my D, which is always set on '2'. at
this level it quickly folds itself into the tapestry of the background
setting and goes unnoticed - that is, until you turn it off (always only
briefly).
most effects draw attention to themselves and become an element of the
sound's composition. the dimensions C&D belong to the alternate category of
treatments that enhance or subtly alter the material without becoming
discernible.
the C seems a bit more strident than the D, and has perhaps the most dense
layout i have ever seen in a pedal that size.

(thanks for the description, mike... it took me a minute to grok the
difference between this and a conventional chorus - but it is a nice twist.
i'll have to code it and see if the digital version is interesting...)
