Now that I think about it, sample 1 there is ultimately Buchlidian.  The
VCO's are my own triangle core jewels, not a 258 or 259 by design but as you
can hear the the FM indexing, very similar in timbre and characteristic to
both, which then goes through a lowpass gate driven by an EG I've completed
which replicates the 281lineararity but adds a 'duration' pot, then through
a 291 inspired bandpass, all of which is being controlled by the 266-er.
The panning however is pure Doepfer.

..so from the ashes of the giants comes this patch..
