What is the resolution of the internal ADC? If it is 8 bit this would
give you a resolution of half-semitones (or quarter tones, or 50 cent
steps). Does it make sense to have a voltage input at all then?
Wouldn't you be better off with just a MIDI input?
The highest ADC resolution I've seen so far on Atmel micros (8051
compatibles) is 10 bits, and to get this accuracy the uP has to be set
into idle mode during conversion. My supplier (Reichelt) doesn't carry
this uP any longer, ack!
