Well I think that pierrot82 meant to send only this message
to me but mistakenly clicked the reply-to-all button.

The message content is just a few words to say that he's just
discovered my site and is happy to know there is a french SDIY source
(he probably doesn't know about the Marc Bareille's homepage).
Here, "hexagonal" refers the gross shape of the french territory
that is supposed to be roughly hexagonaly shaped !... This is a common
french figure of speech, then.
