a) first off, it's a 4-channel converter with a daisy-chain scheme
(dedicated parallel port, using Ethernet cables). Each channel has CV,
Gate, and 2 programmable 'AUX' outputs for mapping to CC messages,
velocity, etc.

b) I doubt anyone will want to connect 16 of them together (for 256
individual output signals) although the ~$7000 order would be nice :)

c) I suspect several folks will get 2 of them for a 8 CV, 24 'other'
output controller.

d) Only about 5% of MOTM users have enough modules for a *full* 8-voice
system, although over 50 have enough for a 4-voice system.
