Hello Fabio,
1. I am a former Moog factory-authorized servcie tech (up to their demise).
As far as I know, there wasn't a period of Polymoog production to be
particularly avoided. I think it is best to avoid all Polymoogs equally.
2. I'm always leery of anyone who refuses to share basic information. For
instance, people who do trades/sales over the internet orEbay but do not want
to give you their phone number. If they really are legit, why are they acting
as if they are not? Is this unit stolen? Who cares? This is simply a person
you probably shouldn't deal with.
3. Hang onto your manhood (no, not literally -- not that there's anything
wrong with *that*) and fix up the bathroom. All things considered, Polymoogs
are not worth the silicon and plastic that was wasted on them.
One last thing: This unit is a fixer-upper. How do I know? Because ALL
Polymoogs are fixer-uppers. Keep in mind that if you buy it, you will eventually
(or immediately) need to buy another one for parts. If you've already lost,
umm, "little Fabio", what will Ms. Gonzalez take when you buy the second
Polymoog?
